The fall season is perfect for the return of the annual Hoppy Hour beer series. New this year, each event will have a theme with featured brews, fun activities and special guests and vendors.

Barks and Brews

Wednesday, September 11, 5:30 – 8:30pm

Bring your best furry friend to the garden for a special evening of Barks and Brews! Meet Swagger (one of the Cleveland Browns mascots) and celebrity dog, Snowball. Take a tour with a horticulturalist showcasing dog-friendly landscaping, meet adoptable animals from the Cleveland APL, check out special swag for your pooch, go on a scavenger hunt for dogs with a special treat prize and more!

Sustaina-Brew

Wednesday, September 25, 5:30 -8:30pm

Come learn about composting at home, making your own beer from hops to glass, what it takes to start an urban orchard from a local pawpaw farmer, and the initiatives that the City has in place to ensure Cleveland is focused on sustainable initiatives. Live music by Brazilian Jazz musician Moises Borges will be featured. Vendors include The Cleveland Brew Shop, Cleveland Office of Sustainability, Justin Hushner and Blue Dragon Craft. Green Corps will also be on hand with fresh produce to purchase (cash only). And, please bring your own empty and cleaned beer bottles to create an upcycled hummingbird feeder!

Game Night!

It’s game night at the Garden! Enjoy traditional lawn games such as badminton, corn hole, jenga, etc., as well as games facilitated by Tabletop Board Game Café. Groove to live music by Diana Chittester and even win a prize at Botanical Bingo!

Boos and Brews

Wednesday, Oct. 23, 5:30 -8:30pm

Come in costume to see the garden at the spookiest time of year! Enchanting lights, mystical fortune tellers (tarot card readers), carnivorous plant creature feature, and a guided flashlight tour featuring Woodland Folklore will round out the evening.
