Campers are guaranteed to get their hands dirty daily–both in the garden and the kitchen! We’ll explore the world of farm-to-table food and campers will learn how to plant, harvest and cook with local vegetables & herbs, understand the import role pollinators play in our food systems and sample local honey, learn how to compost, and bring home a week’s worth of recipes that we’ll make throughout the week. Come with an appetite to learn!

  • Make our own snacks daily from our gardens’ harvest
  • Join a professional chef to learn how to use garden-fresh ingredients to make a pizza and fire it in our very own outdoor pizza oven
  • Behind-the-scenes tour of glasshouses and animal care
  • Try foods grown in Costa Rica and Madagascar Biomes (like cocoa and avocados)
  • Create personalized cookbook with favorite recipes from the week
