Botanicals with Brusho Crystal Watercolor @ Cleveland Botanical Garden

Learn how to add eyecatching hues and unique texture to your paintings. Bring an experimental attitude ready to explore the limitless potential of this medium using stencils or your own artistic vision. All skill levels are welcome and materials are provided.

Cone & Get It @ Cleveland Botanical Garden

Learn about the various conifers growing on the Cleveland Botanical Garden campus while improving your ability to identify cone-bearing trees and shrubs. The class will start indoors with an overview of how to determine separate species of conifers before heading outside to observe uses for conifers in landscape design. The class will end indoors with a hot chocolate round-table discussion to warm up and address conifer applications in specific landscape settings. Leave with the confidence to select the right plant to enhance your winter landscape and complement your garden during the entire year.

From Tree to Table: Chocolate and Wine Pairing @ Cleveland Botanical Garden

Cacao is grown throughout the world’s humid tropics, including our very own Costa Rica biome. Enjoy the rich botanical and human history of this plant and learn how it gets from tree to table. Join experts from Mitchell’s Fine Chocolates to sample a tasting of chocolates from the South American region and learn how to pair these exotic chocolates with wine. Registration is limited and required by Wednesday, Jan. 22.
