Green Corps Learning Farms
Our Green Corps Learning Farms located in four Cleveland neighborhoods (Buckeye, Slavic Village, Midtown and Fairfax) have impacted more than 1,000 Cleveland youth over the last twenty years and provide produce for Cleveland neighborhoods that have limited access to fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables. Teenage Green Corps members are paid for their time and learn skills needed for success in the working world (communication, punctuality, staying focused, working independently and in groups and following directions) while benefiting from educational opportunities that focus on planting/growing produce, managing sales of their farm stands, personal finance and personal health among many other opportunities.
